Needed a break so I did some quick fanart of milkydayy’s Bumblebee redesign. I just love the subtle things in his designs! My favorite thing in this one is the fuzzy collar :D

I just want to show some support for Bumblebee's hair, because I think it looks AWESOME. Do you know what's racist, tumblr? Insisting that every black girl needs to have au-natural black hair. It's perpetuating a harsh double standard when you don't bat an eye at anybody else for dying their hair, and yet the black chick is called a wannabe Nicki Minaj for daring to use some bleach. Get real, and stop 'defending' us please. We like being free to dye and style our hair however we want. WHO KNEW.

There might be a reason that a character who’s symbol is a Bumblebee might want to dye her hair yellow that has nothing to do with insecurity.

And I know you’re coming at me from the way she was depicted in YJ, because she had straight hair. I don’t understand why a black person can’t dye their hair and it not be considered “ghetto” so please stop. I don’t in any way understand how it could be offensive so if you were to ENLIGHTEN me and I were to find a valid reasoning in you getting offended, I will apologize and change it. Otherwise I’m in love with the way I drew her hair, because in comic books white characters are the ones who always get to have different hair colors (purple, green, pink, you name it) and POC are never depicted with any other hair color but black/brown as if we were entirely unable to dye it/it be naturally not black/brown.
